FMSC Partnership

Blessed are those who are generous because they feed the poor.. Proverbs 22:9

Thank you volunteers who helped make this day possible!!!

Global Orphan Outreach is proud to announce their partnership with Feed My Starving Children. GOO will be feeding 400 foster children and their foster parents and school children- 1 meal a day for the next 14months. From there we intend to expand our program.

Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals specifically formulated for malnourished children, and through partnerships like Global Orphan Outreach, ship the meals to nearly 70 countries around the world.

FMSC and GOO hold similar views that people can become involved in the world around them especially with helping the hungry. You need not travel to Africa to help those who are hungry there. FMSC is looking for volunteers to help pack the foods that are shipped. Go to their website and contact them- www.fmsc.org

GOO is also looking for volunteers to help us send the food to Liberia, Africa. We have half of the funds raised and still need your help to raise the other $2700. We are storing the food here and sending it 3 large barrels at a time. Our first shipment is being sent next week. For more information on how you can help, contact Denise Wagner-#651-491-4847. Or email us at globalorphanoutreach@yahoo.com We will be posting updates on our blog of the families who have benefited from your generosity.

Busy busy busy are the volunteers as they pack meals.

One palate of food ready to go.

And its off to Denise and Joe's house for storage. A huge THANK YOU goes out to the Haege's for helping us get it there with their trucks.

Is it going to fit in there Joe?

It takes a good women- Denise supervising the unloading and stacking of the food in her garage for safe keeping until it is all shipped.

Your doing great Joe! Way to handle that skid steer!
