True Compassion is Love in Action!

And they are off..

In June we had a walkathon to raise funds for school scholarships for children in Liberia. This was an awesome and inspiring day organized by Julie Redman our Liberian Literacy Coordinator.

Here is our guest speaker- Frank Glenn Traub speaking to us about his experiences during the war in Liberia and the importance for education for all children. Something many take for granted here in the states. Frank wrote a book called It Shall Come to Pass.. Everyone needs to buy this book. It shares through poetry and readings, the war in Liberia and what people were thinking and feeling living through it.

Where can you buy this book? I am glad you asked... contact us at Global Orphan Outreach. The books are $15.00 and part of the proceeds go to Global's work in Liberia!

Here is part of our walking crew. Thank you everyone who walked, participated, donated, and prayed over this event. Many children will be going to school because of you. Look for updates on our school blog- http://walkalongsideliberiaskids.blogspot.com/
