Liberia-Day 6

Our trip is coming to an end. It is hard as there is so much more we could do but time limits us on this trip. Today we visited our foster homes and brought out more equipment to them. Thank-you everyone who contributed to help equip them. They and we so appreciate you. This is Garme our nurse for the project. She is wonderful!!!!! She is going over some of the guidelines for the supplies with one of the caregivers.

Global is involved in a Caustic treatment and prevention campaign. There are doctors both in Liberia and in the U.S. that have partnered up to help make this a success. We will post more on that later. This is Dr. Sherman the leading doctor in treating caustic children in Liberia. He is a marvelous doctor and I really appreciate him as a doctor and friend.

As our time comes to an end; I am reminded of what a Pastor friend shared with me yesterday. It is a good reminder to anyone working in ministry both here and anywhere. Always remember that this is about serving God. It is not about who gets the credit but that you are a blessing to others and God blesses you one day as heaven is your just reward. Awesome!

Tomorrow I will post some random pictures of our time in Liberia. :0)
