Liberia-Day 7

We stayed at Moko's Bed and Breakfast on 19th street. We highly recommend it. It was much more affordable then Cape Hotel- although that is a very nice hotel too.

Outside our hotel was kids playing soccer most of the time.

As you can tell by all the pictures I post; we enjoyed meeting many beautiful children.

Doesnt she look like a cabbage patch doll! :0)

Liberian Pineapple is the best any where- we had it just about every day! ha

This is a merry go round that pumps water too- the kids are working to pump the water.I believe it is the only one of this kind in Liberia.

Hopscotch!

Yum! I love my chicken and rice!

She was hard at work sewing and selling items. Many run a small business here to support their families using their own talents and skills.

Only in Liberia!! ha

His pet goat. I asked him if he is going to eat it and he laughed and said no!

Take my picture-you will hear that ALOT!

BEAUTIFUL!

Sunday morning we walked down to the beach which was just down the street. There were 4 soccer games going on there alone. Even the little ones were playing. And if they did not have a soccer ball- they used a tennis ball. Now that is skill!

Even Liberian Children build sand castles and motes. Sweet.

Yes we made it to the beach after a week of being here. Definitely was not a vacation but lots of work. We enjoyed our time here and it is hard to leave. We do look forward to going home to our families as well. We are much more useful to Liberia in the states networking for those who need help here than moving to Liberia..... We are looking forward to our next trip. Hoping others can come with as well! :0)

One last- take my picture- so sweet!
