Adoptions-Finally are happening for special needs kids in Liberia

Congratulations to Faith and Mike and their 2 beautiful boys that came home from Liberia last week! Gborlee and Mohammed were children from our FMN homes.

Little Hope from our FMN Homes has found her forever family and is going to be adopted.

Siblings Barvor and Korpu's adoptions are moving along. Barvor was in the states on a medical visa for his eyes and has since returned to Liberia. Korpu is a child from our FMN homes. Together they will be united with an adoptive family in the states as soon as their adoption is completed.

Congratulations to the Bradbee family who will be traveling home soon with Nyenelleh! He was in the states twice on a medical visa for shunts. He returned to Liberia for the completion of his adoption.

Forever Remembering Favour

Our precious Favour passed away last week from cerebral malaria. Favour was our first child into our FMN care. She was just 12lbs at 18 months old. She was abandoned at a feeding center. She thrived in her new foster home that gave her love, support, food, and a home of her own. She was accepted by a foster mom who saw her unique giftedness of how God made her and loved her for who she was. She was not with us long but contributed to this world in BIG ways. Favour was turned away by many a Christian church because they thought she had evil spirits within her due to her handicap. Thus she was not welcomed. Nor was her foster mom. We would not hide Favour away from the community or Liberian people. We would show them that she was as much loved and a child of God as any of us. WE needed to be her voice as she could not speak.

Favour loved jewelery- toys, and her foster siblings. She would smile so much. And fight to eat. She had cerebral palsy but didnt know it. She lived as she was.

Favour reminds us that the special ones in God's kingdom are the weak ones.
They are the ones who cannot fight for themselves, cant speak for themselves, cant feed or care for themselves, cant protect themselves.

Many times there are no one to give them a voice. No one to fight for their cause.

Lets let the world know that children like Favour matter. Lets not let her life go unnoticed.

Jesus is the solution. He changes us so we help children like Favour. He helps us feel what he feels so that we do something. Imagine if every person who called themselves a Christian did what Jesus taught and helped just ONE orphan child. That would be the Living Gospel indeed. You can help more children like Favour. We have more special needs children needing foster homes and we lack the funding to take them in. Please contact us today and help. You are THEIR answer that God has sent. They wait for you.
